Wedding Catering Contract

This agreement is made on {date} between {Caterer}, hereafter "Caterer," and {Couple}, hereafter "Couple" regarding the hiring of {Catering Company} for {Wedding Date}:

FOOD

The Couple agrees to pay {amount} per guest, plus a {amount} service fee, {amount} gratuity, {amount} + mileage travel fee, and {amount} tax. Linens, flatware, plates, water goblets, and champagne flutes are {included/amount extra}.

The Caterer will set up and tear down all food stations, buffets, and serving platters.

The Couple will provide the Caterer with a finalized guest list no fewer than {number} days before the wedding. The Couple will pay for estimated or actual guest numbers, whichever is greater.

The menu will include:

• {Sides}


• {Desserts}

The following dietary restrictions are required for {all/some} of the menu: {Restrictions}.

The menu will be {plated/buffet/stations}. The Caterer will comply with food safety standards, meaning that all food will be {refrigerated/thrown away} after two hours.

The leftover food will be {disposed of/kept by the caterer/taken by the Couple}.

The cake {can be brought in/must be ordered through the caterer}. The Caterer will provide cake cutting and plating for {free/amount}.

The cake design can be amended up until {number} days before the wedding. After that time, it will be finalized and no changes can be made.

ALCOHOL

The Couple {may/may not} provide their own alcohol.

Bottled beer/cider {is/is not} permitted.

Hard liquor {is/is not} allowed at the venue.

The Couple will pay {amount} per guest for drinks. The Caterer will supply {wine, beer, cider, select cocktails, full bar} as well as {tea, coffee, lemonade, water}. A champagne toast is included for {free/amount}.

The bar becomes a cash bar after {number of drinks}.

State Liquor Control Commission-licensed bartenders are {available/required}, {number} per {number} guests, for {hourly rate}.

Leftover alcohol will be {disposed of/kept by the Caterer/taken by the Couple}.

The Caterer will provide service for {number} hours. Overtime will be charged at {rate}.

The Couple will provide a {amount} deposit with this contract. The remainder of the payment will be due no later than {number of days before the wedding}.
