Wedding Cake Contract

This agreement is made on {date} between {Baker}, hereafter "Baker," and {Couple}, hereafter "Couple," regarding the contract of a wedding cake for {date} at {reception venue}:

The Baker will provide a wedding cake with {number} tiers in the following dimensions: {dimensions for each tier}. This cake will produce {number} servings (based on a {number}" x {number}" expectation).

The cake type will be {type} with a {filling} filling and {flavor} frosting. {Other color and decoration requests}.

The cake will be {gluten-free, vegan, dairy-free, etc.}.

The Baker has final artistic control. The Couple may submit design requests up to {number} days before the wedding. After that time, all designs are final. Cake baking is an artistic process, and the Couple recognizes that some colors and decorations may be different than first pictured, imagined, or requested. However, the Baker will make every effort to produce the cake the Couple wants.

The Baker will also provide a {Groom's Cake, Sheet Cake} with the following specifications: {size, flavor, filling, frosting, coloring, decoration, allergy restrictions}.

The Baker {will/will not} deliver the cake to the reception. The cake will be due at {location} between {times}. The Baker will deliver for {free/charge} within {radius} of {location}, and {charge}+mileage within {radius}. The Baker is not liable for any damages to the cake after delivering it to the venue.

The Couple {will/will not} pick up the cake from {Bakery Location} and take it to the reception. The Baker recommends transporting the cake in an airconditioned vehicle and storing the cake in an airconditioned room before the reception. Do not refrigerate the cake. The Baker is not liable for any damages to the cake after it has been picked up from the bakery.

The Couple is responsible for providing a flat, stable surface for the cake stand to rest on, as well as adequate protection from direct sunlight or rain.

A deposit of {amount} is due at the signing of this contract. The remaining amount is due {number} days before the wedding. Cancellations before {date} will result in a refund minus {amount}. No refunds {number} days before the wedding.
