Teen Driving Contract

This contract between {Teen's Name}, hereafter known as "Teen," and {Parents' Names}, hereafter known as "Parents," outlines the conditions of Teen's driving privileges. This document is an outline, and behavior not covered in this document may still result in suspension of driving privileges at the discretion of Parents.

Teen hereby agrees to obey all driving laws and regulations, including {list specific laws, such as curfew laws}. Teen also agrees to obey all household rules regarding driving. These rules include {list rules here}.

Safety rules must also be obeyed. These include {list rules, including cell phone, number of people in car, and other personal rules}.

Enforcement and monitoring of these rules will be accomplished by {list monitoring method, such as cell phone, checking in, or car tracking}. Teen agrees not to interfere with monitoring methods, as this is how evidence of safe driving will be established.

If Teen's driving privileges are revoked for reckless behavior while driving, Teen will forfeit all driving privileges until a date set by Parents with a minimum punishment of {list minimum punishment}. Accidents involving Teen will not necessarily result in punishment but must be reported immediately. Teen agrees not to leave the scene of any accident without following proper procedures. Teen also agrees to report any tickets, including parking and movement violations, to parents. Tickets will not necessarily result in punishment, but must be paid by Teen. Car insurance for Teen will be paid for by {Parents/Teen/both}.

This agreement will be reviewed on {date of review}, at which time alterations to these rules may be discussed.
