Teen Curfew Contract

This contract defines and establishes a curfew for {Teen's Name}, hereafter known as Teen. This contract is a promise between Teen and {Parents' Names}, hereafter known as Parents. Teen promises to obey the rules outlined below and to abide by the punishments listed in cases of disobedience. By demonstrating the ability to act responsibly through adhering to curfew rules, Teen may earn extensions to curfew at the discretion of Parents.

Curfew times will be as follows. On school nights, Teen will be inside the house by {list curfew time}. On nights before a weekend or holiday, Teen will be inside the house by {list curfew time}. Exceptions to this rule will be discussed on a case-by-case basis.

If curfew will be missed, Teen can mitigate the damage by calling at the earliest time possible to explain the delay. Parents may pick Teen up, or may grant a curfew extension depending on the issue. By calling early and explaining the situation, Teen may altogether avoid punishment in some cases.

Punishments for missing curfew will be as follows: {list punishments}. Repeatedly missing curfew will incur harsher punishments, including {list second level punishments}. If Teen continues to flout curfew, an earlier curfew may be set at the discretion of Parents.

On the other hand, by following curfew rules, Teen demonstrates respect and responsibility. This will result in a later curfew of {list curfew increase} on {date of next curfew review}, at which time Teen's behavior, responsibilities, and curfew obligations will be reexamined.
