Summer Contract

    

This contract between {Child's Name}, hereafter known as "Child," and {Parents' Names}, hereafter known as "Parents," outlines the structure of Child's summer activities throughout the holiday period.

Summer Job

Child will make an honest effort of at least {#} hours per week to find a part- or full-time job.

Child will receive a {$} allowance per week. This money is expected to cover the cost of {certain activities/products/cost}. Child will be responsible for making the money required for {snacks/movies/sports/trips/etc.}.

Parents will pay Child {$} per job to do {household chores/jobs/errands}.

Child is expected to complete {household chores/jobs/errands} without pay as a way of contributing to the family.

Child will be expected to plan and make dinner {#} nights per week during the summer break.

Activities

Child will spend at least {#} hours per {week/day} being active outdoors. Child may choose the manner of activity (sports/walks/clubs/swimming/hiking).

Child will be limited to {#} hours of screen time (including video games, computer time, and TV) per day. Screen time may only occur after daily chores have been completed.

Child will be permitted to attend birthdays, pool parties, sleepovers, and other social gatherings if Child has completed chores and exhibited good behavior and a positive attitude.
