Spendthrift Provision

I, {Name}, of {Address}, born {date}, and being of sound mental health and full mental capacity, do instate the following provision to my will regarding the division and dispersal of my estate:

That each trust outlined in my will shall be a spendthrift trust to the full extent of the law. No interest from the trust shall be subject to the beneficiary's liabilities, claims, or assignments. No interest or anticipation of interest or income shall be subject to claims from the beneficiary's family members, romantic partners, children, creditors, or others.

Should the Trustee conclude that the direct distribution of the trust to the beneficiary will make the benefit more widely available to creditors and claimants, the Trustee shall expend the amount necessary to provide the beneficiary with the maximum benefits of the trust. This shall be done at the discretion of the Trustee.

I, {Name}, hereby declare this provision to be an addition or change to my will. All other aspects of my will are to remain intact.
