Utilities Agreement

_______________________ (hereafter “Party 1”), ___________________________ (hereafter “Party 2”), _______________________ (hereafter “Party 3”), and _______________________ (hereafter “Party 4”), hereby agree to share the cost of the below listed utilities while residing as roommates at {address} during the dates of {dates}.

The parties agree to {equally/otherwise} share the cost of each utility bill. Each party’s share will be remitted to the named accountholder via {cash/check/Venmo/Zelle/bank transfer/etc.} no later than {bill due date/days before due date}. If any party is late, {consequence}. The agreement laid out below can be modified by agreement of the parties at any time.

The utilities are billed as follows:

• Gas and electricity via {Power Company} in the name of {Party 1}, set at a balanced rate of {amount} per month, to be split equally in the amount of {amount} per roommate.
• Water via {Water Company} in the name of {Party 2}, with rate varying based on usage. Typical charge is {amount} per month and will be split equally.
• Internet {including/not including} cable television via {Company} in the name of {Party 3} at the rate of {amount} per month, to be split equally in the amount of {amount} per roommate.
• {Pest control, yard care, streaming services, garbage collection, landline, etc.}
