Shared Dorm Belongings Agreement

_______________________ (hereafter “Party 1”), ___________________________ (hereafter “Party 2”), _______________________ (hereafter “Party 3”), and _______________________ (hereafter “Party 4”), hereby agree to the shared use of belongings during the time they are living together in {School Name} residence hall {Hall/Room Number}.

The parties agree that the following items will be shared during cohabitation and returned to the original buyer at the time that they are no longer roommates. Any damage to items will be resolved by {measures}. The agreement laid out below can be modified by agreement of the parties at any time.

Each party will exercise care with regard to use of the shared items. Specifically:

• Parties will not leave food to spoil in mini fridge(s), nor leave crusted, baked-on foods in microwaves. Coffee makers and water pitchers will be cleaned regularly.
• Bathroom items such as toilet plungers will be cleaned after use.
• Vacuums, brooms, and other cleaning equipment will be well-maintained and put away after use.
• Printer(s) will be used with care, and all paper jams cleared carefully and immediately. {Parties} will alternate purchase or paper and/or ink.
• Television(s), sound systems, gaming equipment, and other electronics will be used with care.
