Nanny Contract

{Name} , henceforth known as "Nanny," has agreed to be the nanny for the {Name} family, henceforth known as "Employer," beginning on {date}, and continuing {indefinitely, until a certain date, etc.}.

Nanny and Employer agree to the following provisions:

1. Work Hours and Schedule

1.1 Nanny will work the following schedule:

Monday
Tuesday
Wednesday
Thursday
Friday
Saturday
Sunday

1.2 Nanny will be allowed {number} sick days and {number} personal days per {month/year}. With personal days, the Nanny must give Employer {number} days notice.

2. Salary and Benefits

2.1 Nanny will earn a base pay of {number} per {hour, week, month, etc.}, paid every {week, two weeks, etc.} on {dates}.

2.2 This salary is based on the work schedule listed above, which refers to a {number} hour work week.

2.3 Employer will provide the Nanny with the following benefits: {benefits, including health insurance, retirement, gym membership, etc.}.

3. Responsibilities

4. Parenting Rules

The parents believe in a certain philosophy, and require that the Nanny adhere to that philosophy. As such, the parents expect the Nanny to {details of what the parents expect of the Nanny with regard to their philosophy}.

5. Meetings

Employer and Nanny will meet every {week, month, etc.} for review. Any grievances will be discussed at this time, or at any time either party considers the grievance to be of immediate importance.

6. Termination

6.1 Should the Nanny wish to terminate his/her employment with Employer, he/she must provide Employer with {number} weeks' notice.

6.2 Employer may terminate Nanny's position at any time provided that he/she gives Nanny {number} weeks' notice.
