Job Shadow Contract

_______________________ (hereafter “Mentor”) and _______________________ (hereafter “Shadow”) hereby agree to enter into a job-shadowing arrangement at {Workplace Name} beginning on {date} and ending on {date}.

PURPOSE

The intent of the job-shadowing arrangement is so that Shadow can observe the day-to-day responsibilities and experience of {role} in {industry}, gaining insights to guide their future career.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Mentor agrees to allow Shadow to observe daily work activities, and shall answer reasonable questions about such to the best of their abilities.
• Shadow agrees to comport themselves in a professional manner and adhere to any rules of the workplace, including {dress code, cell phone use, etc.}.
• No items with a monetary value of more than {amount} will be stored.
• No irreplaceable items, such as heirlooms, collectibles, or personal documents, will be stored.
• All boxes and items will be clearly labeled, including party’s name and contact information.
• Television(s), sound systems, gaming equipment, and other electronics will be used with care.

CONFIDENTIALITY

Shadow agrees not to disclose any confidential information learned about {Workplace Name} during the course of their shadowing experience.

LIABILITY

Shadow shall hold harmless Mentor and Workplace for any injuries or damages occurring during the job shadowing experience.
