HORSE RIDING RELEASE

• I have been informed of the inherent risks associated with riding, mounting, grooming, and boarding a horse. I release {Equestrian Company/Camp Name} from all legal repercussions; I will not sue, defame, or charge the company or representatives for loss, damages, or injuries to myself, accompanying minors, or personal property (up to and including death).
• I understand that horses are unpredictable creatures that can bite, kick, spook, buck, maim, and even kill. I understand that this can happen despite extensive proper training and that past behavior is not a reliable indicator of future action.
• I confirm that I do not have epilepsy or a heart condition, that I am not currently pregnant, and that I am not recovering from any major procedures or operations.
• I understand that equipment, including bridles, saddles, and reigns, can break or malfunction at any time, causing injury or death. I have been offered the use of protective headgear while present at {Equestrian Company/Camp Name}.
• I am at least 18 years old, or I am accompanied by a legal guardian.
