Homeschooling Contract

I, {Parent/Teacher Name}, and I/we, {Student Name(s)}, understand that homeschooling requires discipline, communication, and hard work. In order to make the homeschool experience function smoothly, we all agree to the following rules and restrictions:

Students

• Students will turn off and stow all electronic devices at the beginning of each class.
• Students will refer to the Teacher as {Name} for the duration of the class.
• Students will raise their hands and wait to be called upon before speaking.
• Students will speak to the Teacher and each other with respect.
• Students will participate in class discussions and schoolwork during class.
• Students will complete the homework assignments in the time allotted.
• If Students do not follow these rules, the consequences will be: {Punishment 1}, {Punishment 2}, then {Punishment 3}.

Teacher

• The Teacher will provide equal care and attention to each student.
• The Teacher will promote accurate information, common core lesson plans, a balanced education, and good social skills at all times.
• The Teacher will take {Course 1}, {Course 2}, and {Course 3} to ensure that he/she is qualified to teach subjects in math, science, literature, vocabulary, government, and history.
• The Teacher will follow disciplinary measures laid out in this contract.
