Extend Performance Date

    

BE IT KNOWN that [first party] and [second party] entered into an agreement dated [date], described as:

Both parties now hereby acknowledge and agree that the original performance or completion date shall be modified.

1. The original agreement stipulates that the work, project, or performance be completed on or before [date].

2. Both parties accept that the work cannot reasonably be completed or performed by the original agreed-upon date.

3. The parties mutually agree and confirm that the date for performance be extended to [date].

4. The revised date will not have any effect on other terms or conditions of the original contract. This agreement only serves to extend the date.

5. Both parties also agree that time remains of the essence on this project, and no further extensions are anticipated.

This agreement binds both parties and their successors.
