Escape Room Waiver

By participating in {Escape Room}, I hereby accept any risks involved in participation, accept all liability, and will hold harmless {Company} for any damages or injuries. This release of liability includes, but is not limited to, damages or injuries incurred due to negligence, carelessness, property, or defective equipment.

I agree to abide by the precautions and safety instructions put into place by {Rental Company}. I understand that risks of participating in the escape room experience include, but are not limited to:

• Moving or lifting objects not to exceed {number} of pounds.
• Bumping into, colliding, or otherwise making contact with objects or persons.
• Being struck by falling objects.
• Experiencing anxiety, stress, claustrophobia, or other heightened emotions due to the escape room experience.
• Failing to escape the room in the allotted time.

I acknowledge that gameplay is key to respecting the escape room experience. Therefore, I further agree that:

• I will listen to and respect my game master or group leader, and I will work collaboratively with my team, communicating and sharing information.
• I will not hide clues from other players, place items in my pockets, or otherwise disturb or disrupt the escape room experience.
• I will not reveal the secrets of the escape room to others, including waiting teams, others in the community, or in online spaces.
• I will not attempt to use my cell phone into the escape room, and specifically agree that no photos can be taken inside the room.
• I will not interact with “do not touch” items, and will not damage or take (steal) any objects, fixtures, or signage in the escape room.

By signing below, I agree that I waive liability for damages or injuries. I also assert that I am in sound mental and physical condition for the escape room experience, and am not under the influence of alcohol or drugs that could impair my ability to participate safely.
