Company Timekeeping Policy

_______________________ (hereafter “Employer”) and _______________________ (hereafter “Employee”) hereby agree to the following:

The {Company Name} timekeeping policy exists to ensure that employees are appropriately compensated for the work that they perform.

The Employee agrees that:

• In reporting their time {electronically/by clocking in/etc.}, the Employee is providing a true and accurate representation of their work in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• {Any guidelines and rules relating to shift work, tardiness, absences, approval of overtime, comp time, etc.}
• Employee will use {time clock, app, online system, etc.} to track and/or log their time worked. {Additional instructions related to overtime rules, client billing, etc.}
• Specifically, the Employee must not {actions such as shifting cost among contracts or clients, falsifying time cards, wrongly reporting (or fail to report) overtime hours worked, etc.},
• If Employee notices that a timekeeping error has been made, they must immediately inform {supervisor/HR} for correction. Employee agrees that it is Employee’s responsibly to seek guidance if they are confused about elements of the policy or how time worked must be reported.

Misreporting of time worked, including accidental errors not reported in a timely manner, will be subject to {consequences}. Additionally, {clocking in for a coworker, excessive breaks, etc.} will be subject to {consequences}.
