Shared Summer Storage Agreement

_______________________ (hereafter “Party 1”) and _______________________ (hereafter “Party 2”) hereby agree to share a storage {box or unit} during the summer of {year}.

The parties agree to use {Company Name}, located at {address}. The unit or storage space is {dimensions}. Items will be properly packaged and ready for pickup from {location} at {time and date} and will be {delivered or retrieved} from {location} on {date}. The total fee is {amount}.

The contract will be under the name of {Party 1}, who will be reimbursed by {Party 2} in the amount of {amount} at {dates or intervals}.

{Party 1} will acquire and pay for the following packaging materials: {boxes, packing tape, bubble wrap, paper, labels, etc.}. {Party 2} will acquire and pay for the following materials: {items}.

{Party 2} will be responsible for securing insurance on the stored items via {Company Name}, and the policy must cover {dollar amount}. {Party 1} will reimburse {Party 2} the amount of {amount} toward the cost of the policy.

Each party will store no more than {volume}. If any items are damaged during storage or delivery, the matter will be handled by {measures}. If either party is unable to return to campus in the fall, then {resolution}. If items must be retrieved early, {situation}.

The agreement laid out below can be modified by agreement of the parties at any time.

Each party will exercise care in regard to packaging and storing items. Specifically:

• No food or perishable items will be stored. No flammable or otherwise dangerous items will be stored.
• All items will be carefully wrapped and/or packaged, especially liquids and other items that could leak.
• No items with a monetary value of more than {amount} will be stored.
• No irreplaceable items, such as heirlooms, collectibles, or personal documents, will be stored.
• All boxes and items will be clearly labeled, including the party’s name and contact information.
• Television(s), sound systems, gaming equipment, and other electronics will be used with care.
