Clothing Consignment Agreement

_______________________ (hereafter “Clothing Store”) hereby agrees to the following consignment contract with ______________________ (hereafter “Consignor”):

The Clothing Store will accept up to {number} of clothing items from the Consignor. The Clothing Store accepts {men’s/women’s/gender neutral/children’s/infant’s} clothing as well as {jewelry/accessories/footwear/etc.}.

The Consignor will contact {Contact Name} at {contact info} to set up an appointment for delivery and inspection of all clothing items. The Clothing Store will inspect all clothing items during drop-off. The Clothing Store reserves the right to refuse any item for any reason.

The items from the Consignor MUST BE:

• In new or excellent condition
• Made or purchased in the last {number} years
• One of the following brands: {brand name list}
• Clean, folded, stain-free, odor-free and wrinkle-free
• Delivered in a nonreturnable {box/bag/bin with lid/etc.}

Any cleaning the Clothing Store is required to do before displaying the items will be charged to the Consignor at {$} per item.

Any ironing/pressing the Clothing Store is required to do before displaying the items will be charged to the Consignor at {$} per item.

The consignment period lasts {number of days}, starting the day the items are accepted by the Clothing Store. The Clothing Store reserves the right to set the price for each accepted item at their discretion, including markdowns, clearance, and sale prices. The Consignor will receive {percentage} of the FINAL SALE of each item, payable in one lump sum at the end of the consignment period, along with a written summary of the sales and receipts.

Any loss, damage, or theft of items while in the Clothing Stores’ possession will be the sole responsibility of the Clothing Store. In the case of loss, damage, or theft, the Clothing Store will pay the Consignor the floor price the item was listed for at the time of the loss, damage, or theft.

In the last {number} days of the consignment period, the Consignor may contact {Contact} at {contact info} to set up an appointment to collect payment and any unsold items.

The Clothing Store will hold unsold items for {number} days after the consignment period. After that time, the items will be donated to an organization of the Clothing Store’s choosing. Payment to the Consignor may be delivered via postal service or electronic payment at the Consignor’s request. Unsold items will not be shipped.
