Child Internet Contract

_______________________ (hereafter "Guardian") and _______________________ (hereafter "Child") hereby agree to the following:

The Guardian will permit the Child to have access to the internet on {his/her} personal device, {device}, daily from {time} to {time} and unlimited access to the internet on {shared device} for educational purposes.

The Child may use the internet without supervision unless {he/she} does not follow the rules laid out in this agreement. The Guardian may monitor what websites the Child uses at any time.

Due to maturity restrictions and risk factors, the Child is specifically restricted from making accounts for {websites/apps} until {he/she} is {age}.

The Child agrees not to share {his/her} usernames or passwords with anyone.

The Child agrees to tell the Guardian if someone on the internet is asking for {his/her} personal information, wants to meet up, or is making the Child uncomfortable.

The Child agrees not to respond to any messages that are mean, bullying, or that make the Child uncomfortable.

The Child agrees not to instigate or become involved in any behavior that includes cruelty or bullying toward others, even broadly or anonymously.

The Child agrees never to meet up in person with someone they meet online without express permission and supervision from the Guardian.

The Child agrees not to download any apps or software without the Guardian's permission.

The Child agrees not to make any online purchases without the Guardian's permission.

The Child agrees not to enter any 18+ websites.

The Child agrees not to participate in any illegal activities over the internet.

The Guardian agrees to answer any questions the Child has about information gained from the internet and to share in learning from the Child about what {he/she} has gained from the internet.

If the Child breaks any of the aforementioned rules, the Guardian may revoke the Child's access to the internet for {amount of time}.

In witness to their agreement to the terms of this contract, the parties affix their signatures below:
