Grade Contract

This contract defines and establishes a punishment and reward system for {Child's Name}, hereafter known as Child. This contract is a promise between Child and {Parents' Names}, hereafter known as Parents. Child promises to obey the rules outlined below and to abide by the punishments listed. Parents promise to pay the agreed-upon amount in a timely fashion when all requirements are met.

Child will maintain at least a {Grade} average in every class. If Child does not maintain a {Grade} average, the following punishments will apply:

• {Amount} television less per day, per {amount} letter grade below the acceptable grade level.
• $ {amount} deducted from allowance, per {class, assignment, test, etc.} where the grade is below the acceptable level.
• Revocation of {activities, sports, clubs, special privileges, etc.}
• Child will be grounded (except for work purposes) for {amount of time.}

If Child earns a {Grade} in a class, the following rewards will apply:

• Child will be allowed to participate in {special activity.}
• Child will be paid $ {amount} per class where the grade is successfully maintained

If Child maintains a {Grade} GPA for {number} years, a $ {amount} bonus will apply.
