Non-Disclosure Agreement

This Agreement is between {Name}, from this point known as Beta Reader, and {Name}, from this point known as Author, and is executed on this {date} day of {month}, {year}.

This Agreement is intended to prevent intentional or unintentional disclosure of confidential information held by Author, described as

{full legal name of Author}

{pen names unrelated to the current Work}

{email and street address of Author}

The Agreement also covers information related to the Work, {manuscript title}, described as

{early drafts, blurbs in progress, etc.}

Beta Reader agrees that under no circumstances can they at any time redistribute or share with any other party or entity an electronic version of the Work, nor any draft print versions of the Work provided to them by Author. The Work is provided solely for the purpose of {beta reading/editing/etc.}, and remains the intellectual property and copyrighted material of the Author.

Beginning on the {publication date or other date}, the Beta Reader may post on book review websites such as Amazon, Goodreads, and StoryGraph. The Beta Reader may also discuss the book on social media platforms such as Instagram and TikTok. The reviews {must/must not} be approved by Author.

This Agreement is legally binding and will be enforced according to the laws of the State of {State}.

Beta Reader will be held solely liable for any violations of this Agreement.
