Division of Childcare Agreement
_______________________ (hereafter “Partner 1”) and _______________________ (hereafter “Partner 2”), hereby agree to the following rules regarding division of childcare for the following child(ren): ________________________________________ (hereafter “Children”):
On {days of the week/school days}, Partner 1 shall care for the Children exclusively from {time} to {time} while Partner 2 has {work/activity/travel/etc.}. Partner 2 shall care for the Children exclusively from {time} to {time} while Partner 1 has {work/activity/travel/etc.}. Both partners shall care for the Children from {time} to {time} and will trade off as necessary for purposes of chores, errands, appointments, self-care, alone time, hygiene, etc.
On {weekends/holidays/summer months}, Partner 1 shall care for the Children exclusively from {time} to {time} while Partner 2 has {work/activity/travel/etc.}. Partner 2 shall care for the Children exclusively from {time} to {time} while Partner 1 has {work/activity/travel/etc.}. Both partners shall care for the Children from {time} to {time} and will trade off as necessary for purposes of chores, errands, appointments, self-care, alone time, hygiene, etc.
Both partners agree to have {their own/shared/divided} systems for keeping track of school, medical, financial, extracurricular, and disciplinary information for the Children.
{Amount of money} shall be set aside per week for a babysitter or daycare in case of a schedule conflict or an emergency. Money not used for such instances will be kept in {account} for {college/emergencies/school activities}.
{Amount of money} shall be set aside per month for a babysitter so the partners can have a {date night/weekend away}. Money not used for such instances will be kept in {account} for {college/emergencies/school activities}.
