Company Use of Software Policy

_______________________ (hereafter “Employer”) and _______________________ (hereafter “Employee”) hereby agree to the following:

Beginning {date}, the Employee will have access to {Software} (hereafter “the Software”), licensed to {Company Name}.

This policy exists to ensure that Company data and systems are protected, and that the Software is not misused.

The Employee will be permitted to use the Software for work purposes, provided that:

• The Employee uses the Software in accordance with the Software license agreement. Employee agrees not to copy the Software or provide it to a third-party.
• The Employee participates in {training} in regard to proper use of the Software.
• The Employee protects all confidential data to ensure that company information is not lost or compromised.
• Limited personal use of the Software is allowed, as long as {conditions}. Express permission from {supervisor} is required for {types of usage}. {Company Name} will not be held liable for any loss of data, photos, etc. in the course of using the Software for personal projects.
